The Love Letter

With my allergies going absolutely nuts, my day was just creeping by. I was literally counting the seconds to my lunch break; which consisted of getting my car’s oil changed, talking with a elderly gentleman about the differences between cucumbers and pickles, and texting the Boyfriend. I have had a steady flow of work since, but nothing to get all riled up about. Basically a very lackadaisical day – until the love letter.

I should explain first that the Boyfriend and I have pretty exordinary senses of humor (or sense of humors?). Anything from dumb “your mom” jokes to your everyday penis joke to constantly quoting Step Brothers (“I won’t swear to SHIT!” AHAHAHA)  – we pretty much cover the spectrum on a daily basis. And since he knew I was so-so about everything today, he sent me this:

I about died. I literally burst into hysterics at my desk – trying so hard to keep the laughter in. I mean, what a mood changer, right? My sales guy hears me going nuts at my desk and asks what I am going on about. I, naturally, say nothing. But because my sales guy is hilarious in his own right, I strolls over to my desk and asks if they joke is “office appropriate”. I say no, of course. And he says “perfect”. He reads it, giggles, and says “he’s a keeper” with all the seriousness of a father of three teenage girls. I, without hesitation, said “yup. he sure is”.
